NEW ULM, Minnesota (Oct. 4, 2019) – Brown County Historical Society has received a $10,000 donation from Nuvera and CoBank, a cooperative bank serving vital industries throughout rural America.
Headquartered in New Ulm, MN, Nuvera provides voice, Digital TV, Wireless, Internet, Managed Services, computer sales and computer repair services. Nuvera has been a supporter of non-profit organizations across their entire service area for decades, contributing donations and volunteer support.
“Brown County Historical Society is an important organization in southern Minnesota, providing insight into the rich history of the region not only through museum exhibits but ongoing programs and an extensive research library,” said Nuvera CEO Glenn Zerbe. “We are pleased to be able to continue our commitment of support to the communities that we serve by supporting an organization that is so vital to the history and culture of this area.”
Nuvera’s donation was matched by CoBank through its Sharing Success program. Sharing Success was established in 2012 to celebrate the International Year of the Cooperative. Since the program’s inception, CoBank and its customers have together provided more than $36 million in support to charitable organizations across the nation.
