(MINNEAPOLIS) – The Minnesota Telecom Alliance presented its 2018 Company Safety Award to Nuvera of New Ulm. The award was announced March 27, 2018 at the MTA’s 105nd Annual Convention at the Minneapolis Hyatt.

The Safety Award is presented to Companies who demonstrate Dedication, Commitment, Consistency, Direction and Involvement in Safety, including to their Employees, the Industry and the Communities they serve.  Nuvera demonstrated these values and enriched the culture of Safety within their Company from top management down.  This award also recognizes the important role management has in achieving excellent results in safety performance.

In presenting the award, MTA Lead Safety Consultant Dan Berg said, “The Minnesota Telecom Alliance Safety Program has been providing Consulting, Training and Representation services to the region’s Telecom Companies for over thirty-five years and is very proud of Nuvera’s efforts.  Nuvera has once again reinforced our belief that Safety can be effectively managed through teamwork and an understanding of the principles of Safety.”

The award is one of four annual MTA Safety Awards – three to companies and one to an individual.
