NEW ULM, MN – June 17, 2019 – Nuvera Communications, Inc. has obtained 28 GHz Upper Microwave Flexible Use Service Licenses (Auction 101) to provide wireless Internet access and related services in four counties in FCC Auction 101. The counties involved are Brown, Renville, Sibley and Redwood.
The 28Ghz auction marks the first time millimeter wave spectrum has been made widely available for use. Securing spectrum in this band will enable Nuvera opportunities for the deployment of future wireless technologies.
