Business Success

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) is the data collected by telecommunications carriers about their customers’ telephone calls and purchases. Names, addresses and phone numbers of customers are not considered CPNI.

Pretexting occurs when an imposter contacts the telephone company claiming to be a customer in order to obtain call detail records or account information. This has become a major concern for the FCC, consumer groups and Nuvera.

In order to comply with data privacy laws, Nuvera requires business customers to supply a password and be listed on the account to receive call detail records or to make any changes/additions to the account. Additionally Nuvera MAY also ask for a third level of verification by requiring the requestor to confirm the Federal Tax Identification number as well. Please complete the form below and return it to Nuvera.

It is the customer’s responsibility to inform Nuvera of changes to your authorized employees.
