Nuvera Expands Fiber Network in Waverly to Additional Neighborhoods

NEW ULM, May 20, 2026– Nuvera Communications, Inc. (OTC: NUVR), a diversified communications company, announced plans to expand its fiber network in Waverly. Construction in the area just east of Carrigan Lake; and south of Hwy 12 at the crossroads of Emerson Ave SW will begin in the next few weeks. See the map for detailed location information. 

This will be the second year of construction in Waverly. Nuvera’s fiber construction expanded its network to pass approximately 656 residences and businesses in 2025, and will pass another approximately 200 in 2026, while looking ahead to plans to pass another approximately 150 in 2027. The expansion plans are part of the fifth year of construction and deployment for the $200 million Nuvera Gig Cities project.
