Nuvera Announces Fiber Internet Expansion Project in Goodhue County

New Ulm, MN – [August 31, 2026] – Nuvera is expanding its fiber internet network in Goodhue County, bringing high-speed internet to 304 previously unserved and underserved homes and businesses.

The project is supported by $3.21 million in Federal Community Project Funding awarded to Goodhue County and Nuvera, championed by U.S. Rep. Angie Craig, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar and U.S. Sen. Tina Smith. A map of the construction area can be found at nuvera.net/construction/updates. 

The expansion continues Nuvera’s commitment to extending reliable, high-speed broadband to rural communities and helping close the digital divide in the areas it serves.
