Nuvera Hosts Free Document Shredding Event in Hutchinson in Honor of Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Hutchinson, Minnesota (October 18, 2025) – Nuvera is proud to announce a community-focused document shredding event as part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Document security is a crucial aspect of protecting personal and business data. With identity theft and data breaches on the rise, securely disposing of sensitive documents is more important than ever. 

What’s happening? 

Nuvera is hosting a free document shredding event at our Hutchinson location. Bring your confidential items for secure shredding with a NAID AAA Certified professional shredding company. Just pull into our parking lot and your materials will be removed from your vehicle and placed in a secure shredding container. Items to be shredded must be in standard-sized bags or boxes, with a limit of 3 per customer. No electronics or large clips, please.

This service is free for Nuvera customers, please bring a copy of an invoice for verification. Non-customers are encouraged to participate by making a small donation, which will be contributed to a local food shelf. 

When and where?

Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 9 a.m. to noon*. 
Nuvera’s Hutchinson office located at 235 Franklin St SW, Hutchinson.

*Once the shredding truck is filled, the event will be finished.
